The US has carried out an airstrike in Syria, against Mohammed Emwazi, the British IS jihadisten known as “Jihad John”. The Pentagon can not say if Emwazi killed.
“We are evaluating the results of tonight’s operation and will share more information when it is appropriate.” said Pentagon spokesman Peter Cook in a statement.
